ATHLETIC CERTIFICATION & DEGREE AUDIT SPECIALIST

The Athletic Certification and Degree Audit Specialist is
responsible for reviewing and conferral of student degrees in
accordance with the Academic Senate regulations and College
approvals. This position is also responsible for all NCAA
student-athlete certification based out the Registrars Office. As
part of the Degree Audit and Graduation team, this position will be
updating and implementing new technologies to enforce graduation
requirements for all students. Please note: A Cover Letter is
required. The budgeted hiring range for this position is up to
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent
4 - 7 years of related experience. Required
Ability to travel to annual NCAA and Big West conferences.
Strong problem identification, critical thinking, and problem

assess processes and implement improvements.
Working knowledge and demonstrated ability to use complex

degree requirements, special enrollment, veterans' benefits, and

Thorough knowledge of University policies, processes, and
procedures and of Federal and California laws pertaining to the
privacy rights of students and access to student information.
Knowledge of NCAA Division I athletic certification policies.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Ellucian DegreeWorks, Scribe and
Basic understanding of the System development life-cycle.
