Job Title: Financial Reporting AnalystLocation of Position: Pro Farm Group, Inc., (PFG) Davis, CAReports to (title): Senior Director of Reporting and Technical AccountingJob Description Updated: September 9, 2022SUMMARY:The Financial Reporting Analyst will work under the directive of the Senior Director of External Reporting and Technical Accounting assisting in ad-hoc research of technical IFRS accounting topics and implementation of new accounting standards or policies, assisting with the preparation of internal financial and operational reports including monthly, quarterly, and annual results for the group, production of various trend analysis including revenues by product, gross margins by product, operating expenses by cost centers, underlying supporting schedules to be utilized for Securities and Exchange ("SEC") filings submitted by the Bioceres Crop Solution global accounting and reporting team. This position will interact closely with the other functional departments such as treasury, procurement, supply chain and the group's external auditors.Given the nature of the position, an ideal candidate will be able to concentrate for long periods of time and produce high quality work product. The candidate should be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to transition and focus between tasks seamlessly, enthusiastic, and energetic, goal-driven, and highly motivated to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Essential FunctionsAssist in preparing internal reporting deliverables in conjunction with the monthly financial close process, quarterly earnings release and Annual Reports on Form 20-F. Includes assistance with the preparation and support of other SEC filings as required by the global accounting and finance team. Deliverables includes group financial statements, global stock-based compensation activities, group concentrations in revenues, customers, segments, and other performance metrics integral to the Group and the annual financial statements as necessary.Participate in the Group's annual audit process including coordination with internal and external auditors.Assist in the implementation and compliance of new, evolving accounting literature through performance of research and summarization of findings in a clear, logical and comprehensive manner which can be utilized in technical accounting memorandumsAssist in the updating and maintaining of the Company's accounting policies and proceduresExecute and perform certain internal controls duties and tasks as required by the Company's internal controls.Complete as required on a monthly, quarterly, and/or annual accounting related tasks as part of the financial close processAssist in stock-based compensation administration (grants, settlements/exercises, cancellations) and record keeping.Compilation of group budget to actuals or other KPIs for group reporting and performance management.Other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS:Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting required.Experience: 3 years' in public accounting firm experience (national or local) OR 2 years' experience in public accounting firm experience plus 2 years' experience in accounting, financial analysis.Other: Possession of a valid driver's license.Essential Physical and Mental RequirementsPhysical Requirements: e.G.,Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods.Ability to extensively use of computer keyboard, mouse and monitor.Ability to work when necessary, extended daily or weekend hours.Ability to lift at least 20+/ pounds.Ability to work collaboratively on a team, as well as, be an independent worker.Ability to be highly organized, dealing with multiple projects; meet multiple deadlinesin a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is essential in this positionAbility to be flexible and highly adaptable to new or changing prioritiesAbility to identify issues, impacts and implications and recommend solutionsAbility to showcase excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to provide and maintain open lines of communication with employees from all areas of the organization, providing prompt answers to requests from other departments to determine how to convey concise, clear, and timely selective informationMental Requirements:Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in workload priorities, prioritize tasks, maintain confidentiality as well as produce a high-quality work product.Ability to work well under pressure without loss of attention to details as many tasks are deadline driven.Ability to be a highly motivated self-starter.Travel:Ability to travel by car, train or air domestically: 1-5%% of the time; travel maximum 1 days per month.
