Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Logistics Management Analyst to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals onsite in Palmdale, CA. Accomplish You will control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements. Ensure customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives. Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. Build relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives. Integrate learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position. Succeed The individual we seek will be self-motivated, proactive, goal-oriented to help us grow our services, become even better at what we do and will possess the following qualifications. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors' degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR Masters' degree with 3 years of relevant experience or PhD with 1 year of relevant experience. Experience in Aviation and Aerospace technical data. Experience in procurement and the use of SAP, Maximo, or ASAP System (BarCloud). Must be able to work in an approved environment during specified work hours and will frequently move and position objects weighing 30-50 lbs. overhead. Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year. Must have an active DoD Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in logistic related field Experience in mobility and load planning. Primary Level Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $128,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
