Job Description Job Description Job Title: Plumber Apprentice / Laborer Location: Sun Valley, California (Los Angeles County) Job Type: Full-Time Department: Plumbing Reports To: Master Plumber Technician / Foreman Position Summary: We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking Plumber Apprentice / Laborer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing trade, working alongside experienced professionals on residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities: Assist licensed plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems Carry tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites Perform basic labor tasks such as digging trenches, cutting and fitting pipes, and cleaning up job sites Learn to read blueprints and technical drawings Follow all company safety policies and procedures Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Communicate effectively with team members, plumber tech and supervisors Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred Prior construction or plumbing experience is a plus but not required Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn Must be punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious Enrollment or willingness to enroll in a registered plumbing apprenticeship program (as required) What We Offer: Competitive hourly wage based on experience On-the-job training and mentorship from experienced plumbers Opportunities for advancement and career growth Health, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) plan Life Insurance provided by our company Safe and respectful work environment Pay Information: Hourly Rate: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Candidates with previous plumbing, construction, or general labor experience may be eligible for a higher starting rate within the range. Regular performance reviews and opportunities for wage increases are provided based on job performance, reliability, and skill development. Work Schedule: Typical Hours: Standard business hours (Monday–Friday, approximately 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Schedule May Vary: Depending on project needs, including nights, early mornings, or weekends Open availability is required While most work will be performed during regular daytime hours, some jobs may require overnight or off-hours work to meet deadlines, access job sites, or minimize disruptions to clients.
