ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PREVENTION EDUCATION
8AM - 5PM

The Assistant Director of Prevention Education develops, implements
and coordinates a vision of violence awareness and risk reduction
programs and responses on campus in regards to sexual assault,
intimate partner violence and stalking. These activities include
mandatory new student orientations, education and outreach to
various student populations, staff and faculty. The Assistant
Director will develop and implement evaluation and assessment for
these efforts. The Assistant Director maintains state certification
credentials to ensure legal protections over the confidential and
privileged information received at the CARE office.
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent
Valid Drivers License
California Certification for Sexual Assault Crisis Counselor
California Certification for Domestic Violence Advocates
Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
1. Must possess or obtain a valid drivers license in accordance
with the California Department of Motor Vehicles.
2. Ability to drive and provide transportation for students to
schools and event sites.
3. Must be able to pass a Department of Justice and FBI background
