Job Description:
Responsible for the supervision and management of the Physics
educational operations, including instruction, teaching
laboratories, lecture demonstrations, and department special
events. Supervises 4.0 FTE and various student assistants.
Coordinate and supervise equipment/instrument change-outs for
laboratory exercises. In consultation with faculty, build equipment
for new laboratory experiments and demonstrations. Assemble, test,
and debug equipment prototypes. Research existing methods of
performing similar experiments. Serves as Facilities Manager for
department and lead contact for renovation and minor construction
projects. Manage computer hardware and software needs, networking
systems and provide general computing assistance for
staff/technical units. The budgeted hiring range for this position
is $64,400 to $93,200, depending on the selected candidate's
education and experience.**As a condition of employment, you will
