Job Description Job Description This role is for Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) on the Terminal 5 renovation project at LAX. They are hiring two Office Engineer II professionals for a multi-year, full-time onsite contract based at Terminal 5 (Los Angeles, CA 90045). This is a high-visibility project involving the demolition and full reconstruction of the Terminal 5 headhouse and concourse. The Office Engineer will work closely with the senior project management team to support documentation, coordination, and construction operations in an active airport environment. Position Highlights: • Title: Office Engineer II (2 openings) • Location: Onsite at LAX – Terminal 5 • Rate: $60–$65/hr (negotiable based on experience) • Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time onsite • Duration: Multi-year contract Key Responsibilities Include: • Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation • Maintaining logs and records in PMWeb and document management systems • Coordinating with contractors, design teams, and field staff • Supporting meetings, reporting, and schedule/cost tracking • Ensuring organized and compliant project records • 10 years of experience in construction/project engineering (airport experience preferred) • Strong knowledge of design and construction lifecycles • Experience with large, complex projects and multiple delivery methods • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam (PMWeb experience preferred) • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field • Professional certifications (PE, PMP, LEED, etc.) are a plus If you’re interested in learning more, I’d love to connect and share additional details.
