(7:00pm - 3:30am) Employment Category: Full Time - Regular Pay

www.generousbrands.com. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing
technical maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting malfunctions,
following diagrams, sketches, equipment manuals, and manufacturing
instructions and installations. Maintenance Technician is
responsible for following all food safety, quality practices, and
all work safety guidelines. Adhere to all safety standards set by
Health-Ade and OSHA Resolves day-to-day technical problems on the
production lines. Inspect, test, diagnose, repair, and maintains
production equipment, machinery, or instruments to ensure that it
functions reliably and complies with process specifications.
Conduct work orders and address issues as they arise; identify,
find, and check out parts as needed from storeroom; Operate
forklift, genie boom, and scissor lift as needed to complete work
orders Complete preventive maintenance work orders as assigned and
recommend revisions to improve reliability Communicates machine
improvement suggestions, equipment requiring maintenance, training
opportunities, or operational/safety concerns to the supervisor
when appropriate Utilizes the CMMS to create, manage, and document
all work; Reviews the written quality of Maintenance Work Orders to
ensure explanations are complete and accurate Compiles shift
information to lead shift “pass down” meetings Works with
Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, and Director of Quality &
Technical Services to drive Root Cause Failure Analysis Ensures
that good housekeeping and safe work practices are followed.
Perform housekeeping functions while performing assigned work and
in the assigned maintenance area to maintain a clean and safe
working environment Responsible for the organization of tools &
parts Responsible for quality, duration, and thoroughness of all
work under jurisdiction. Other duties/projects as assigned by the
manager WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 2 years of
experience in Food, Beverage, or other consumer packaged goods
Mechanical/Electrical experience maintaining production equipment
in a continuous production environment Ability to read and
understand standard operating procedures, operation manuals,
manufacturer’s instructions, and/or engineering specifications
Know, understand and be compliant with NFPA 70E, and Lockout
procedure is essential Willing to be flexible and work a different
shift if needed to support the business PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with Krones bottling lines Experience with KHS Can
Fillers and Seamers Experience with packaging/high-speed production
(e.g., bottling, consumer products, etc.). Experience with basic
electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts, relays).
Experience with compressors (e.g., air compressors). Experience
with conveyors (air cylinders, diverters, sensors, motor/speed
controls). Experience with electrical systems (installation,
frequency drive, troubleshooting) Experience with electronics
(e.g., level probes, flow meters, drives/VFDs, etc.). Experience
with gearing and gear boxes (rebuilds, ordering parts, machining
parts). Experience with hydraulic systems (high pressure cylinders,
pumps, valves, troubleshooting). Experience with kinematics (e.g.,
line speed/sprocket size ratios, etc.). Experience with PLC (e.g.,
industrial maintenance, computer control systems, etc.). Experience
with pneumatics (solenoids, cylinders, motor brakes, reading,
troubleshooting). Experience with pneumatics/air compression (e.g.,
valves, cylinders, etc.). Experience with preventative maintenance
(computerized preventative charts/data). Experience with pumps
(e.g., troubleshooting, replacing seals/motors, understanding
specs). Experience with schematics (e.g., electrical blueprints
with switches, starters, maps, relays). Experience with SERVO
(e.g., intelligent/robotic motors, in-coders, etc.) Experience with
troubleshooting (e.g., diagnostics, problem solving, etc.).
Experience with Industrial Electrical Wiring, Mechanical/Electrical
Devices, Circuits, Robotics, PLC, and computer controlled Physical
Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Able to bend,
stretch, push, pull and move as needed to reach, clean, and service
machinery Prolong periods of standing, kneeling, bending and
climbing ladders Must be able to access and navigate all areas of
the production floor, i.e. climbing 20 ft caged ladders and ducking
under conveyance Must be able to occasionally work in freezer and
cold, wet or humid conditions. Occasional exposure to noisy, wet
and humid work environment, cold temperatures (34 °ree; F
degrees or below) Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles,
toxic or caustic chemicals Material exposure, moving mechanical
parts and equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks etc.) WHAT WE OFFER
