Project Manager Job Number Full/Part Time Schedule Salary 24416495 Full Time 8AM - 5PM Commensurate with Experience Position Information As a member of the Information Technology Services (ITS) Project Management Office, this position will act as a technical project manager under the general direction of management and will utilize standard project management practices and tools in the delivery of technical projects. They must demonstrate strong analytical skills, provide team leadership, and utilize prescribed techniques to deliver a variety of technical project types, sizes and criticalities. They will possess the ability to lead and manage projects using Waterfall, Agile Scrum, and hybrid methodologies.This position is classified as remote with occasional visits to campus as necessary to perform the job duties. Working hours will be based on Pacific Standard Time (PST). This position is a two-year CONTRACT position with a maximum annual budgeted salary of $102,500. As a condition of employment, you will be required to comply with the University of California SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Vaccination Program Policy. All Covered Individuals under the policy must provide proof of Full Vaccination or, if applicable, submit a request for Exception (based on Medical Exemption, Disability, and/or Religious Objection) or Deferral (based on pregnancy) no later than the applicable deadline. For new University of California employees, the applicable deadline is eight weeks after their first date of employment. Education Education Requirements Degree Requirement Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required Advanced degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Preferred Certifications Certification Requirement Professional certification. Preferred PMP (Project Management Professional) Preferred Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation Preferred Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) OR Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Preferred Experience Experience Requirement 4 - 7 years of related experience. Required 1 - 3 years work experience with Banner, Student Information Systems, and/or Student Learning Systems. Preferred 1 - 3 years work experience within higher education. Preferred Special Conditions Special Condition Requirement Must pass a background check. Required Occasional travel for system-wide meetings, conferences, and developmental opportunities.
