Director, Academic Personnel Policy & Employee Relations (APPER) Job Number Full/Part Time Schedule 28137592 Full Time 8AM - 5PM $103,300 - $175,600 Position Information Applicants are required to submit a cover letter and resume for full consideration. The Director of Academic Personnel Policy and Employee Relations (APPER) is a strategic leader who delivers organizational objectives through the coordinated achievements of the Academic Personnel Office (APO) team members and campus partners. The Director has decision making authority and acts on behalf of the Vice Provost and Assistant Vice Provost for Academic Personnel in the areas of Academic Personnel Policy and Academic Employee Relations. The Director partners with Human Resources and Employee/Labor Relations, Chief Compliance Office, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, and the Vice Provost for Administrative Resolution on academic employee relations matters. This position serves as an advisor to senior leadership, is the campus's lead for contract interpretation/implementation for academic contracts and represents the campus on bargaining teams and committees' system wide. The Director provides leadership and oversight campus-wide for academic personnel policy/procedure development and implementation.
