Behind every product sold by Roche is Pharma Global Technical
Operations (PT). Starting with Phase I of the development process
and continuing through to product maturity, PT makes lifesaving
medicines at 11 locations, with the support of partners from around
the world. Information (IT) and Automation Technology (OT) teams
are key in producing and delivering medicine to patients. The
organization is currently undergoing a transformation towards
digitalization, advancing fundamental elements to meet future
needs, such as using new technologies.
The IT OT Business Integration Manager - Solution Integration
position offers a unique opportunity to shape the information and
technology solutions in alignment with the Pharma vision. Reporting
to the IT OT Site Head, you will be a member of the IT OT
Manufacturing Network and deliver harmonized IT and OT solutions
for the global PT manufacturing network.
As IT OT Business Integration Manager, you will be the driver of
ITOT product roadmap realization by partnering to fully understand
business opportunities enabled by information and operational
technologies. In partnering with the site, your focus is always on
Make Assess Release (MAR) in alignment with site priorities as well
as demand originating from Projects. Being responsible for the end
to end IT OT landscape, you are a key interface for development of
technology and processes, risk and relationship management. In
addition, you take a key role in the digitalization of PT's global
manufacturing network, which targets to deliver reliable services
through standardization of the IT and OT environment. Your
contribution will be fundamental to embed the new operating model
and culture into the entire function.
What you'll be working on:
* De facto Squad Lead until formal structures are established based
on need and scope of the initiatives (e.g. ASPIRE, SingleLIMS, and
Desigo).
* A representative for the ITOT organization, running huddles,
facilitating support.
* Responsible for IT OT deliverables in supporting the end-to-end
Make Assess Release (MAR) processes of the site.
* Responsible for the technological IT OT landscape and its
integration at the site.
* As responsible for the site IT OT landscape evolution, ensure
overall production strategy and commitments are met whilst
increasing the site's digital maturity in line with the PT
Strategy.
* In partnership with business stakeholders, Business Integration
Managers, Technological Product Leads/Owners take a key role in
identifying business opportunities and support of PT Strategy
Deployment activities - Site projects, PoCs, Pilots.
* Act as liaison with regard to system architectures, system
integration and the underlying business processes.
* Drive continuous improvement activities of prioritized
initiatives, operational and support processes.
* Lead cross-functional teams in an agile set-up, taking the role
of advising, educating and challenging the status quo with a
customer oriented E2E mindset.
The ideal candidate:
* Lives the motto of getting things done, can do strategy but not
shy about providing direct operations support/ end to end issue
resolution.
* Has business domain and IT OT expertise in the pharmaceutical and
biotech industry, with an experience in manufacturing and Technical
Operations and an understanding of market challenges and
competitive advantages.
* Proficient knowledge of pharmaceutical technology and processes
(manufacturing, digital plant, shop floor systems, quality lab
systems, data historians or automation systems) as well as system
architecture and its integration.
* Nurtures a business consultative and value driven partnership.
Demonstrates executive presence, strong business acumen, navigates
ambiguity and manages complexity.
* Well-networked. Exhibits intellectual curiosity and integrity,
with a high degree of self-awareness, empathy and listening skills.
Lives a speak up culture and promotes a culture of trust.
* Approach to work with an agile mindset, i.e. good enough instead
of perfection, focus on "Reuse before Buy before Make."
Requirements / Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics,
Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or related
experience.
* Highly developed people and negotiation skills.
* 10+ years of professional experience in global and complex
business environments.
* 3+ years of working experience on MES or ERP solutions in
business or IT/OT side.
Special Skills:
* Entrepreneurial mindset with focus on continuous improvement,
end-to-end thinker and problem solver, applying lean and agile
methods.
* Excellent communication skills at both, a global and local level
to technical and non technical audiences.
