Job Description:
QUALITY MANAGER$80 to $95k Annually DOE -Superform USA seeks an
experienced Quality Manager for its busy Riverside Manufacturing
Facility. - This position will provide, implement, and administer
Quality functions to ensure the most effective and economical
product reliability and conformance to engineering and customer
requirements. Oversee and flow down all internal and external
elements of Superform's QMS, EMS, and SMS systems to ensure process
control and product conformance throughout the manufacture of
product. Assist in directing the ongoing implementation of
Superform's Continual Improvement process to reduce variation of
key characteristics, reduce waste, increase profit, and improve
product and process quality. As a member of the Senior Management
Team, participates in the development of Company policies and
goals. Conducts and/or oversees both internal and external
audits.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -include, but, are
not limited to the following. - Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain all customer quality system
approvals through the development of robust processes, training
relevant staff on the requirements and their applications to each
department, and working with each department manager to assist
others in achieving these requirements.Responsible for managing and
supervising the quality department, including the Quality
Inspection team, Quality Systems Engineer, CMM & Romer Arm.
Responsible for construction, management, and issuing of annual
management Quality, Environmental, and H&S reviews.Management
and maintenance of all company environmental and operating permits.
Maintain current AS 9100/ISO 9001, ISO 14001 Environmental, and ISO
45001 H&S third-party certifications. Proactively develop a
strategy for the attainment of other industry-relevant
certifications as required by stakeholders.Coordinate requirements
with customers and suppliers for all reliability and quality
standards.Ensure quality-compliant components through the
implementation of quality checks throughout the manufacturing
cycle.Explore traditional and nontraditional manufacturing
processes to reduce cost and/or improve product quality through
equipment and methods best suited for particular programs.Confer
with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and supplier personnel to
resolve problems of product and process quality.Provide technical
assistance in areas of interpretation regarding specifications,
design concepts, and related information in connection with the
purchase of raw materials, supplies, and inspection and/or test
equipment.Review all customer contracts to ensure that all quality
requirements are current and that all inspection requirements are
incorporated or revised on proper documentation.Participate in the
development of work instructions that define Superform's Quality,
Environmental, and H&S Management System.Supervise and/or
manage studies to determine cause and effect and implement
corrective action as required to eliminate deviations from
standards of quality.Ensure documentation and maintenance of
records, drawings, and other data are updated to provide necessary
traceability and accountability.Oversee Company Environmental, and
H&S programs to ensure ongoing compliance and
certification.Participate in Company Health & Safety Program to
ensure compliance. Conduct periodic training sessions to keep
personnel informed on procedures, methods, use of equipment, and
other quality/manufacturing techniques.Develop and maintain
Superform's Quality Manual in accordance with industry quality
standards. - Analyze products and processes to identify and
implement improvement actions to positively impact performance
measures.Create technical documents (policies, procedures, work
instructions) as required.EMPLOYEE WELFARE:

actions.Attendance at weekly scrap review meetingsEDUCATION AND/OR
EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelors or Associates degree with
quality-related education/work experience is preferred but not
required. - At least ten (10) years' experience at a supervisory,
or management level in the field of Quality and/or Engineering in
an Aerospace component manufacturing atmosphere.Experience in
creating and maintaining a quality management system in accordance
with ISO 9001 and AS 9100 requirements.Experience in conducting
both internal and external audits in accordance with ISO 9001 and
AS 9100 requirements.Must have a working knowledge and
understanding of Statistical Process Control. (SPC) and other CI
tools (i.e., FMEA, DOE, etc.). - Must be familiar with
environmental, health & safety requirements in a manufacturing
area.Prior Supervisor Experience Required: -Personnel Supervised: -

While performing the duties of this
job, the employee is required to work within an air-conditioned
atmosphere with occasional exposure to non-controlled temperatures
ranging from 400 -to 1100 -Fahrenheit. - Occasional exposure to wet
and/or humid conditions may also occur.The noise level in the work
environment is usually moderate. While in the Manufacturing area,
individuals will be exposed to dust and occasional high noise. -
