Palace Entertainment, one of America's largest leisure operators,
seeks a Group Sales Manager for its California Hub, including
Raging Waters Los Angeles, Raging Waters San Jose and Castle
Park.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, customer service
orientated strategic thinker that is tech savvy with excellent
writing and speaking skills. Should be comfortable working on
growing sales, executing against numerous projects simultaneously,
meeting deadlines, and handling pressure on a daily basis.We are
currently looking for a:California Hub Group Sales ManagerRoles &
Responsibilities:
- Pay Range $32-38 Per Hour
- Manage group sales representatives at all three California Hub
parks.
- Lead the group sales team in developing a pipeline of new
business through prospec t ing, cold calling and other
tactics.
- Ensure parks are maintaining their sales databases by
implementing tactics and best practices to create repeat customers
year over year
- Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and sales
patterns within each park.
- Use data and learnings to make decisions and adjust sales goals
and plans as needed.
- Drive ne w group business and maintain existing group business
to meet and achieve yearly sales and attendance goals .
- Promote and sell all aspects of group sales which includes
non-catered groups, catered groups, online consignment, hard ticket
consignment, and specialty groups .
- Audit competitors regularly to ensure pricing and strategies
allow for the parks to remain competitive in their respective
markets .
- Develo p internal relationships with each park 's marketing, o
perations and management teams in order to ensure the success of
group sales and events .
- Work with park and teams to create and execute yearly sales
plans and goals .
- Work alongside marketing teams to coordinate and execute
integrated sales campaigns .
- Create content for sales flyers and promotions , website
information, and mailings with regard to offerings and pricing each
season, including email campaigns via Salesforce .
- Report to Hub Director on a consistent basis wit h sales in
each channel segment .
- Professionally represent and market the facility at industry
meetings, tradeshows and off-site events . Team member benefits:

- Communication - Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and
written communication skills, including customer service skills ;
ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively with a
wide range of diverse populations. Represent the Company well
internally and externally and convey a professional and positive
image of the organization and business affiliates
- Leadership - Sales Strategist with the a bility to lead a
regional team in attracting new sales groups and maintain ing
current groups.
- Problem Solving/Analysis : Define problems, research and
collect data, draw valid conclusions and execute remedia l st
rategies in a timely manner .
- Flexibility - Handle multiple priorities simultaneously;
maintain a flexible work schedule to meet changing demands for
multiple concurrent projects , and ability to adapt to changing
events and strategies in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Computer Proficiency - MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook,
Access, Powerpoint ), Experience with Salesforce CRM Qualifications
& Education Requirements: -
- Bachelor's degree in Business , Sales and/or Marketing ,
Advertising, Communications or related fields. Equivalent
experience will be considered .
- Flexible schedule - must be available to work weekends,
evenings , and holidays during the operating season -
- 3-6 years of related experience required . E xperience in the
entertainment or amusement and attractions industry a plus , but
not required Languages: Fluent English . Spanish a plus. Why Palace
