Job Description:
A non-profit healthcare organization is currently seeking a
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to join our team in our Riverside, CA
(92504) location. What We Offer: $150000 - $200000 / year based on
experience Benefits package available About the Role: The Chief
Executive Officer, under the supervision and at the direction of
the Board of Directors, is responsible for the overall operations
and functions of the organization. With knowledge of accreditation
and licensure requirements for opioid substance abuse treatment
programs; budgeting and expenditure controls: principles of office
organization and principles of management, modern office practices,
procedures, and equipment, including microcomputers and applicable
software applications and policies, procedures and practices
consistent with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation
Facilities (CARF) as well as the ability to plan, organize and
implement programs and related activities; communicate clearly and
concisely, orally and in writing establish and maintain effective
working relationships with persons within and outside the
organization. What Youll Do: Provide leadership, guidance and
direction in the operation of the organization and its satellite
facilities Ensure the organization meets requisite accreditation
standards and maintains certification and licensure Develop and
recommend goals and objectives, plans, policies and procedures
needed to promote seamless and effective staff operations in order
to maintain and enhance patient treatment, recovery, decorum and
morale Oversee clinical treatment programs and ensure the provision
of technical assistance and training for clinical staff in order to
establish and maintain evidence based treatment practices and
protocols resulting in the increase in recovery clients Develop
evaluation plans, measures, data collection methods and reporting
procedures consistent with the organizations Strategic Plan,
federal, State and local agency funding requirements to determine
program and operation effectiveness Review and ensure staff
competency in the use of automation and other emerging technologies
in compliance and funding agencies Prepare and recommend budgets,
monitor the allocation of expenditures for consistency with
approved budgets and recommend revisions as needed Verify
appropriate staffing, equipment and space availability for all
programs Collaborate with other agencies and organizations in the
community to provide substance abuse treatment, behavioral health,
health care, child and family services, housing and employment
services to assist clients with recovery Identify, develop and
monitor fiscal contractual agreements between the program and
outside agencies Provide leadership and direction in the
organizations marketing efforts as developed by the Strategic Plan
Present information to the Board of Directors and its committees,
community groups and other agencies regarding programs and services
Complete other duties as assigned Our Ideal Candidate: Education
and Experience A masters degree in health or health related fields
5+ years of supervisory experience in an opiate substance abuse
treatment or behavioral health treatment environment Certification
as a Licensed Social Worker (I.SW) or Licensed Clinical
Psychologist (LSP) Knowledge and Skills Concepts and terminology of
behavioral healthConcepts and principles of patient advocacy
related to behavioral health Practice of general medicine related
to the treatment of behavioral health issues Methods and techniques
of diagnosing and treating behavioral health patients with
psychiatric disorders Preventive psychiatry including primary,
secondary, and tertiary phases Federal, State, and local health
laws, regulations, codes, and standards related to behavioral
health care programs and services Behavioral health care planning,
evaluation, assessment and programming. Principles and practices of
supervision and training Cultivate teamwork, collaboration and
positive staff morale Community resources available for behavioral
health services Current technology and trends in the profession
Abilities Plan, direct, and coordinate behavioral health clinical
programs Evaluate MFI and contracted behavioral health services for
conformance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and
standards Develop and implement new or revised behavioral health
programs with emphasis on clinical concepts Develop and implement
clinical standards for behavioral health programs Develop and
recommend service delivery plans Supervise, train, and evaluate the
work of subordinate staff Prepare and give public presentations on
the division's activities, functions, and issues Communicate
effectively, both verbally and in writing Establish and maintain
effective relationships Prepare reports and maintain records
Understand and carry out oral and written instructions Work
independently Maintain client confidentiality Maintain appropriate
and timely communication with family, significant others, and
referral sources conveying a positive professional image Maintain a
