Time Schedule 30320575 Full Time 8AM - 5PM $96,700 - $184,100
Position Information The Director of Development will support the
Executive Director for the UCR School of Medicine and development
team, helping to create and implement programs of engagement
between the campus and external constituencies. The Director will
encourage private philanthropic support for the School of Medicine
through individual major and principal giving as well as corporate
and foundation relations. The incumbent will ensure the success of
multiple fundraising projects and the achievement of campus
objectives. This position will assist with writing proposals and
Case for Support documents, increase engagement of prospective
donors in SOM events, workshops, and activities in collaboration
with the Strategic Initiatives team. Build and manage a portfolio
of major and principal gift prospects (individuals/alumni,
foundations, and corporations); develop and implement
identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and
stewardship strategies in collaboration with the Executive Director
of Development, Sr. Director of Development, Dean and faculty of
the School of Medicine, and advancement leadership and colleagues
including the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations.
Please note: this is a three-year, renewable contract position
which includes the same employee benefits afforded career
employees. Additionally, this position is eligible for hybrid
accommodations.
The full salary range for the Director of Development, School of
Medicine is annually $96,700 - $184,100. The expected pay scale for
this position is up to $120,000 annually. We base salary offers on
a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and
certifications, experience, and other business and organizational
needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a
UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take
over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
As a condition of employment, you will be required to comply with
