About the role:Manages plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, warehouse/shipping, employee safety, quality, and other production-related activities. Periodic travel to other facilities.
We are excited about you because you will:* Oversee daily responsibilities such as recruitment, employee retention, training, cross-training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary procedures.* Manage the implementation of preventative maintenance activities.* Conduct quality checks and ensures the quality of all products.* Monitor the precision of coil scanning for inventory tracking.* Assist new hires with understanding job responsibilities and safety protocols during onboarding. * Work with supervisors and scheduling for accurate inventory control and contribute to all team-based decisions.* Oversee the approval of employee timesheets and manage any payroll-related questions. * Implement lean manufacturing practices in daily operations.* Oversee key indicators to improve overall production efficiency.* Empower team members through delegation and professional growth opportunities.* Promote employee engagement with a culture of teamwork, cooperation, and improvement.* This job description may not include all duties and responsibilities. Safety:* Adheres to safety protocols and operational procedures to drive a safe work environment.* Utilizes and upkeeps all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).* Oversees housekeeping for the entire plant.


Required Skills/Abilities:
* Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to prioritize and delegate.
* Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
* Skilled in strategic planning, safety, manufacturing control, and quality assurance.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (preferred).
* Minimum of 8-year manufacturing management experience.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software (Word, Excel and, PowerPoint).
* Background with lean manufacturing, and other process improvement programs.

Physical Requirements/ Other Requirements:
* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on computer.
* Lifting, standing, walking, body positions, grasping, sitting, pushing effort, pulling, climbing, walking up and down stairs, lift to 50 lbs.
* Able to work in an environment with moderate to high levels of noise.
* Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including exposure to hot and cold environments.
