Position Summary:Provides skilled perioperative nursing care to patients according to their individual needs and supervises associated personnel in related activities. Assists with surgical procedures in the scrub and circulating roles and supervises non-professional personnel in these areas. Assists in maintaining a safe aseptic environment.Reports To: Director Perioperative ServicesSupervises: NoneQualifications Position Requirements:Licensure/ Certification/Registration:* CurrentCalifornia RN license.* BCLScertification.* CNORcertification preferred.Education: * AADegree minimum.Experience: * One-yearoperating room experience.Special Qualifications: * Basicknowledge of aseptic technique.* Basicknowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology.* Abilityto assess developmental needs of patients from infancy to the elderly and tomodify care appropriately.* Mustbe able to interpret pertinent findings and adapt to the OR setting.We are an equalopportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
