Position Summary:
The Wound/Ostomy Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for -development, coordination, and monitoring of the hospital's -Wound/Ostomy Program. The Wound/Ostomy Nurse establishes -standards of care and clinical competencies to meet patient needs, and -staff training to ensure clinical expertise. The Wound/Ostomy Nurse -works collaboratively with the medical staff, and provides education to -patients, caregivers, and staff on wound, ostomy, and continence care.

Qualifications Position Requirements:

• 
  
• Valid California RN license.
  
• Current BCLS certification.
  
• WOCN or Wound Certification
  
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  
• BSN, MSN Preferred
  
• Minimum of 1-2 years acute care hospital experience in area of specialty.
