Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract - Number of Beds – Labor beds -11, 4-ObEval, 2 OB PACU, 2 OR’s - Number of Staff – 79 - Type of staff: - Day Shift – 1 Charge, 10 Staff, 2 OB Tech - Night Shift - 1 Charge, 10 Staff, 2 OB Tech - Patient Ratios – 1 RN/2 patient, I RN/1 Pat - Type of equipment – GE fetal monitoring - EMR – CPN, Meditech - Typical Procedures: NST, Cervical exam, Managing labor, Titrating meds, McRoberts Requires: - An ASN degree minimum - A recent 2 years of L&D RN experience in an acute hospital setting - CA RN License - AWHONN, ACLS, BLS, and NRP Certification - Floating to postpartum-couplets
