Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 26 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Position Overview We are seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in an outpatient facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with various imaging procedures and a patient-centered approach to care. Position Details Shift: Day Shift, 5x8 Hours (08:00 - 17:00) Years of Experience: 1 year (New Graduates are welcome to apply) Travel Experience: Not Required Weekend Requirements: None Floating Between Units: Not Required Local Candidates: Accepted Pending State License: Accepted (License must be obtained within 4 weeks of submission) Required Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) Cerification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT) OR NMTCB OR ARRT Preferred Certifications ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) ARRT N (Nuclear Medicine) ARRT R (Radiography) Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including but not limited to: Single-Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) PET Scans Myocardial Perfusion Studies Bone, Brain, Liver, and Renal Scans Draw venous blood for diagnostic purposes. Administer pharmacological stress testing, including Lexiscan. Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Skills and Equipment Proficiency in using imaging equipment such as: GE Philips Siemens Experience with EKGs is preferred. Patient Care This position primarily involves working with adult and geriatric patient populations. The technologist is expected to deliver compassionate care while maintaining a professional demeanor. Orientation New hires will undergo a comprehensive orientation lasting 40 hours to familiarize themselves with facility protocols and procedures.
