The hospital is best known for its Primary Stroke Center – the first of its kind in North County. Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas also provides 24-hour emergency services, OB-GYN, maternal health and infant health services, and a regionally recognized brain injury program. With over 138 beds and a wide variety of specialty services, this sprawling Encinitas hospital is designed to fit every patient’s needs. We invite you to join Medical Acute 2 South, a 32-bed unit where you will provide primary care to patients dealing with cardiac, pulmonary, diabetic, neurologic, cognitive orthopedic, CIWA, psychiatric issues; observe progress and update patient charts. RNs work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care and enjoy a well-managed, cohesive working environment. Position is eligible for New Hire Retention Incentive up to $7K. The following are not eligible for hiring incentives: - Internal candidates - Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met: - Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter) - Must remain in original department/specialty - Must remain in original Job Title - Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter. Position Pay Range: $59.16-$85.68/hour
