Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist experienced in acute care and dysphagia therapy with video swallow skills. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in an inpatient rehab unit with a med/surg population - Responsible for adult acute care caseload - Handle dysphagia and video swallow studies, including MBS/VFSS procedures - Schedule options include Tue-Sat, Wed-Sun, or Sat-Wed 8-hour day shifts - Provide assessment and treatment for adult patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders - Conduct video swallow studies and collaboratively interpret results for treatment planning - Work closely with an interdisciplinary team in a rehab setting - Adhere to facility guidelines and participate in ongoing team communication /n /n Requirements/n - Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program - Current California SLP license required if applicable - Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP) - Current BLS certification - Experience in inpatient acute care med/surg settings - Proficiency in dysphagia therapy and modified barium swallow (MBS)/video fluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS) /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-665689.
