1099 contractor need as a Sexual Harassment Training Consultant.

workforce. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Sexual
Violence and Harassment Prevention Training Consultant to provide
California-mandated training for a janitorial services workforce.
This independent contractor role involves providing in?person,
interactive training in compliance with California Labor Code and
all related harassment prevention regulations. The Consultant will
educate janitorial employees and supervisors on prevention,
recognition, reporting, retaliation protections, and corrective
actions related to sexual harassment and sexual violence. Training
must meet all required state standards for content, duration,
interaction, and documentation. This is a 1099 independent
contractor engagement, and the Consultant is responsible for
managing their own methods, schedule, travel, and preparation to
fulfill agreed?upon deliverables. SALARY RANGE - $40-55/hr (DOE)
LOCATION - this role is remote with 75% travel within CA DURATION -
4–6 months with potential extension Scope of Work Deliver
California-compliant sexual violence and harassment prevention
training in accordance with Labor Code § 1429.5, Title 8 CCR §§
13820–13822, and applicable state requirements. Facilitate live,
interactive sessions for employees and supervisors in accordance
with required duration and content standards. Ensure training
materials and delivery is accessible, engaging, culturally
responsive, and language-appropriate for a diverse workforce.
Communicate prevention strategies, reporting procedures,
anti-retaliation protections, and corrective actions relevant to
the janitorial industry. Provide information on company policies
and internal reporting channels as needed during training sessions.
Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback,
assessments, and follow-up, and refine training approaches as
needed. Maintain accurate training records, attendance
documentation, and compliance reports in accordance with regulatory
and contractual requirements. Independently manage time, travel,
preparation, materials, and delivery to meet assigned training
engagements. Submit timely and accurate invoices with supporting
documentation as outlined in the engagement agreement. Collaborate
with the Learning & Development team as needed to ensure alignment
with organizational documentation and compliance standards. Stay
current with California compliance updates, regulatory changes, and
janitorial industry best practices relevant to mandated training.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Ability to facilitate engaging
training sessions for diverse groups and environments. Comfortable
using technology to support training delivery (virtual and
in-person). Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to set
up, operate, and troubleshoot facilitation or A/V equipment.
Organizational and project management and capabilities Fluent in
Spanish including reading, writing, and speaking (required).
Experience Requirements Minimum of two years of practical
experience delivering harassment and discrimination prevention
training, responding to harassment or discrimination complaints,
conducting investigations of sexual harassment complaints, or
advising employers on these issues. Proven experience working in
the janitorial or similar industry preferred, with a strong
understanding of its work environment and operational challenges
Prior experience delivering sexual harassment prevention in
California. Knowledge of California sexual harassment laws and
workplace compliance requirements. Excellent communication and
presentation skills, with the ability to connect with diverse adult
learners. Demonstrated professionalism and cultural competence when
addressing sensitive topics Ability to manage documentation,
materials, and travel independently Must be able to independently
front travel-related expenses (including transportation, lodging,
and meals, if applicable) and submit timely invoices in accordance
with company policy. Proficient with MS Office suite, Adobe
Acrobat, and related tools. Schedule Training assignments may occur
on weekdays, evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on client
needs. Consultant independently determines and manages their
preparation and travel time to meet scheduled engagements. Work
Environment Training will take place in office, classroom, and
on-site environments with varying noise levels and temperatures

workload to meet training and compliance requirements Travel
required; up to 95% depending on location and assignment KBS
