An immediate opening is available for a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support an elementary school caseload in Los Angeles, CA. This contract position spans a full semester with an expected end date of June 12, 2026. The role will be based onsite at an elementary school, working Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Key responsibilities include delivering occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of elementary-aged children, collaborating closely with school staff and families, and maintaining thorough documentation to support student progress and compliance with educational standards. Qualifications and Experience: Active California state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Prior experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with elementary students Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles and practices Ability to work effectively onsite within a school environment Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators and families Availability for a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process Location: Position is based onsite in Los Angeles, CA, serving an elementary caseload Benefits and Work Schedule: Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday Work hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM Contract position lasting through June 12, 2026 This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed COTA seeking a school-based role to make a meaningful impact on children's educational and developmental outcomes.
