Position Overview: We are currently seeking an On-Site Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing occupational therapy services to students in PreK-12 schools, helping them achieve their developmental, educational, and functional goals. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities. - Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff. - Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address students' specific needs and promote skill development. - Monitor and document students' progress towards goals, adjusting intervention plans as needed. - Provide consultation and support to teachers and other school staff regarding strategies to promote students' participation and success in the classroom. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for students' academic and functional needs. - Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of students' education plans. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork. Qualifications Qualifications: - Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field. - Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. - Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric setting. - Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric occupational therapy. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff. - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Knowledge of sensory integration therapy, handwriting without tears, and other therapeutic modalities (preferred).
