Position Information
UC Riverside's Dining and Hospitality Services is recruiting for a new Project and Operations Coordinator. Under the general direction of the Executive Director of Dining & Hospitality Services, performs high quality and timely administrative coordination, analysis, reporting, and operational and project support for a wide range of issues that assist the Dining & Hospitality Services team in making and communicating tactical and strategic decisions based on appropriate data, facts, and best practices. Collaborates with Dining & Hospitality Services management to ensure programs/systems meet team needs; runs regular reports utilizing various internal systems and follows up as needed. Creates reporting and analytical tools and administrative processes; establishes and follows operations and project timelines. Works with procurement to ensure clear vendor communication and timely invoicing and payment. Maintains compliance of operational and administrative reporting and record-keeping requirements. Involves analytical studies on a variety of policies, projects, programs and issues in support of Dining & Hospitality Services, and research of new or changing systems and programs. Assists in policy and program planning, development and administration; interprets, monitors, analyzes, and reports on information regarding trends and procedures.
The full salary range for the Project and Operations Coordinator is $25.96 - $44.64 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $35.30 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
As a condition of employment, you will be required to comply with the University of California SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Vaccination Program Policy. All Covered Individuals under the policy must provide proof of Full Vaccination or submit a request for Exception (based on Medical Exemption, Disability, and/or Religious Objection) or Deferral (based on pregnancy) no later than the applicable deadline. For new University of California employees, the applicable deadline is ten weeks after their first date of employment.

Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Working knowledge of applicable policy analysis techniques.
Proficient in ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.
Demonstrates ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.
Working knowledge of common organization- or research-specific and other computer application programs.
Knowledge of project management techniques.
