Neighborhood's Human Resources Generalists are the "glue" that
help connect Neighborhood's employees, managers, and HR Team
together. This is a dynamic position and requires a great deal of
agility in being able to partner with leadership on strategic
discussions and then focus in on the administrative and
transactional tasks that need to occur in order to implement those
discussions. This role requires a great deal of partnership and
relationship building in order to be successful.

Employee Relations -Serve as the first point of contact for
employee relations issues and ensure that HR leadership is involved
in all warranted issues. Attend local unemployment claim hearings,
lead and conduct HR investigations (i.e. discrimination,
harassment, wage and hour discrepancies, etc.). Ensure consistency
of disciplinary documentation prior to delivery.
Performance Management -Assist management with the timely
completion of annual performance evaluations. Initiate 360 feedback
survey results for Providers. Gather 360 feedback results,
productivity, clinical measures, and ranking statistics to send to
Clinical Team Leaders. Generate and analyze reports to ensure
submittal by established deadline.
Onboarding/ Offboarding- Conduct New Hire Orientations and Exit
Interviews. Report and address any critical information obtained
during the exit interview as well as any observed trends with HR
leadership and Site leaders.
Recruiting- Partner with Talent team to coordinate new hire
paperwork, I-9 verification, and new hire orientations.
HRIS- Process employee status changes in HRIS, including site
transfers, promotions, compensation changes. Collaborate with
payroll. Serve as the local HRIS expert and assist in training new
and current employees on UKG.
Worker's Compensation- Complete all facets of the workers comp
claim process to include communication with insurance carrier and
employee. Maintain OSHA 300 log and work closely with HR leadership
and Safety department to identify injury trends.
Reasonable Accommodation- Oversee interactive process and ensure
legal compliance with accommodation requests. Partner with Benefits
team on leave of absence requests that overlap with ADA and/or
Compensation- Partner with Compensation team to analyze and address
pay discrepancies. This includes reviewing merit increases and
bonus recommendations, new hires and internal equity concerns, and
Benefit Administration- Act as the local liaison between employees
and our Benefits team serving as a resource to answer all benefit-
related questions. Host Open Enrollment meetings and assist
employees with benefits enrollment.
Compliance- Ensure compliance with Neighborhood policies, EEO,
FLSA, Federal and State Laws.
Event Coordinating & Employee Recognition- Assist and participate
in planning employee appreciation events, such as holiday parties,
staff meetings and annual picnic.
Communication- Communicate personnel changes via employee memos.
This includes but is not limited to: Promotions, restructuring, and
the exit of employees.
Safety- Help coordinate safety initiatives with Site Leaders and
Safety team to identify injury trends and assist in future
Training & Development- Partner with L&D team to conduct
various HR trainings and coaching sessions with management and
staff on any of the above mentioned subject areas.
Other duties as assigned
Maintain privacy of all patient, employee and volunteer information
and access such information only on a need to know basis for
Comply with all regulations regarding corporate integrity and
security obligations. Report all behaviors and/or activities that
are unethical, fraudulent, or unlawful.
HR Certification, PHR or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in human resources as a HR
HRIS knowledge preferred.
Knowledge of employment and wage and hour laws, workers
compensation, and benefits administration preferred.
Effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and
customer service skills.
Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook) required.
Detail oriented with excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize.
Organizational and planning skills with ability to analyze,
prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team and maintain
Candidate must be fully vaccinated against the Covid19 virus and
demonstrate proof of that vaccine upon hire, unless the employee is
