Litigation Paralegal - San Diego, CA A premier civil litigation firm based in San Diego is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its expanding team. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in civil litigation matters and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role involves supporting all stages of litigation, from case preparation to trial, ensuring the smooth and organized handling of legal documents, research, and case management. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and organize exhibits, evidence, briefs, and appendices Communicating with attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel Conducting background checks and litigation/social media searches Preparing subpoenas for medical, employment, and other records Drafting medical chronologies and Howell analyses Researching jury verdicts and settlements Summarizing discovery responses and document productions Coordinating with experts on materials, depositions, and trial prep Preparing trial documents, exhibits, and witness binders Liaising with internal teams and third parties during trial Supporting voir dire, jury selection, and witness prep Qualifications: 3 years of experience ABA Paralegal certificate preferred Strong writing, oral communication, and attention to detail Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and responsiveness Self-starter with strong organization, multitasking, and time management Familiar with billable timekeeping Knowledge of California Code of Civil Procedure and Federal Rule of Civil Procedure Trial preparation and support experience preferred Benefits: 100% Paid Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision) for employee Annual 401k Contributions by the Firm Annual Profit-Sharing Contributions Paid Parking/Transportation 15 Days of Paid Time Off (PTO) to Start and 11 Paid Firm Holidays Paid Jury Duty, paid Bereavement Leave, paid Maternity, Paternity, Catastrophic Disability Leave Paid Parking/Transportation Hybrid shedule - 3 days in office To learn more about this or any other of our open positions, contact Carolina Ries at carolina.ries@gogpac.com or call/text 605-679-4241 .
