Pay Rate: $15.00-$16.75 per hour
2nd shift - 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm
2 nd Shift – 4:00 pm – 2:30 am (Monday – Thursday)
Weekend shift - 5:00 am - 3:30 pm (Friday -Monday)
Weekend shift - 4:00 pm - 2:30 am (Friday - Monday)
Job Description: The Forklift Operator II is responsible for
operating material handling equipment for the purpose of moving,
locating, relocating, stacking and counting merchandise. The
Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the
forklift and may also be required to perform order filler or order
checker duties in addition to his or her own. This position
is responsible for operating multiple types of forklift equipment
and ability to operate within a rack warehouse environment.
Forklift operator needs to be able to operate sit-down, clamp,
cherry and reach equipment. Forklift certification required on all
four pieces of equipment.
Essential Job Functions & Requirements:
Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage
Stacks and stores merchandise in designated areas using a
forklift, clamp, push-pull or other powered equipment
Pulls and prepares products for shipment
Ensures that the exact number and type of product is loaded and
Performs picking duties in an efficient manner meeting customer
Moves product from staging and/or storage areas into trailer
Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following
prescribed work methods
Maintains appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory
control and security
Assists in physical inventories
Ensures proper stock rotation
Conducts cycle counts as requested
Must have Excel knowledge plus general computer knowledge.
At least 1-year Sit-Down Clamp experience
Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs. without restriction
Basic inventory and counting skills required
Must be capable of off-loading trailers effectively and safely
without damaging product
Must be able to work in varying facility conditions.
Ability and availability to work extended hours including
nights, weekends and potentially holidays as needed by the
Must be able to stack freight with a sit-down Clamp up to 25
feet (3-6 levels) overhead within tight spacing.
Must have RF knowledge.
