Material HandlerCalifornia facility, 7888 Lincoln Ave, Riverside, California, United States of America Req #2142 Monday, December 28, 2020Morgan Truck Body, the largest truck body manufacturer in North America, has opportunities for skilled Material Handlers!***$1,000.00 BONUS FOR ALL NEW HIRES***Offering a shift differential of $1.50 per hour for 2nd Shift!Our generous benefits include paid vacation and holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k with company match as well as many others!Job DescriptionThe Material Handler is responsible for the loading/unloading of materials from trucks as well as assisting with the maintaining of inventory.Job Duties* Load, unload and check in freight* Storing and documenting freight* Deliver material to the production area* Count and organize part storage area* Read and interpret written orders, specifications and labels* Perform safety and quality checks* Work and adhere to all safety policiesMinimum Qualifications* Basic math, tape measurement and computer skills* Basic experience with Forklifts/PIT Equipment* Able to understand and comprehend measurement* Able to read and interpret blueprints for special applications* High School Diploma or equivalent GED* Must be 18 years oldPreferred Qualifications* Previous experience in manufacturing* Previous experience working on truck bodiesPhysical Requirements:* This job operates in a manufacturing plant environment. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 35 pounds. The team member may, at times, sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl (may be in confined spaces).
