Why this is a great organization to join:Client is an established firm with years of progressive growth; Great reputation in the industry; Quality work and loyal client base; Profitable; Privately owned; Strong leadership team and seasoned staff; Focused on growth; Low turnover; Fun and enjoyable work environment; Fast-paced; Team oriented.Job Summary:* Provide skilled support in maintaining and repairing plant equipment required by the manufacturing operation including forklifts, utility equipment and vehicles. * Conduct and assist in the daily electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance of plant equipment.* Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot, program, and install automation equipment throughout the facility.* Perform routine maintenance and the ability to move, dismantle, assemble, clean paint and install machinery equipment throughout the plant * Must provide own hand tools to perform routine repair tasks, specialty tools (jacks, Hmmer drills, large wrenches) will be provided by the maintenance department as needed. * 5 years of related experience and/or training preferred* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals* Ability to compute rate, ratio, and perfect ad to draw an interpret bar graphs.* Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence and memos.* Ability to write simple correspondence.Job Requirements:Requirements: 80% of the position:* Ability to do preventive maintenance of all production and support equipment as required * Provide repeat and setup to the production and warehouse operations as needed including but not limited to equipment in the Tool & Die and R&D department * PLC/controls troubleshooting.15% of the position* Repair, clean paint, fabricate, assemble and install equipment or devices of the plant use as needed 5% of the position:* Maintain and submit reports of maintenance work. Assist the maintenance department MRO coordinator an/or Maintenance Lead in ordering parts or tools.
