Job Description:
MECHANIC ASSISTANT:Assist in organizing and monitoring parts and
accessories for up-fitment orders.Perform and or learn the duties
of a mechanic involved in hands on repairs, maintenance and
up-fitment of vehicles.Perform and or learn heating, cooling,
drilling, bolting, soldering and cutting in all aspects of
mechanical work.Trained in the operation of equipment, use of tools
and methods or procedures of work.Maintain vehicles functional
condition by assisting with inspections; repairing mechanical and
electrical system malfunctions; replacing parts and components as
required.Verify vehicle safety by assisting and conducting test
drives; adjusting controls and systems.Provide helpful feedback to
Management and Engineering to overcome technical fitment and design
issues that may arise with a product line or part.Keep supplies
ready by inventorying stock and notifying supervisor of parts to be
ordered.Maintain vehicles appearance by cleaning, washing or
detailing.Maintain proper safety procedures.Perform related work as
required.Help to assist sales, customer service and production with
installation questions or concerns.
