Primarily responsible for assisting the Assistant Treasurer with
fulfilling his treasury responsibilities including managing various
daily cash processes, bank lines of credit and other reporting
requirements and other strategic initiatives. This position has 3
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops annual budget for bank & credit card fees based on key
assumptions, trends. Monitors actuals vs. budget variance
quarterly, investigates key drivers.
- Reviews monthly bank fees/interest costs and credit card fees
highlighting key items for management to identify potential
- Reviews daily bank cash reporting & deposit activity for 22
- Reviews daily loan activity and reporting to Sr. mgmt..
- Supports retail store personnel with daily receipts/deposits
processing & reporting, provides training as necessary.
- Supports Accounting team with cash receipt reporting,
reconciliation issues and GL coding.
- Supports Accounting team with annual audit deliverables related
to the Treasury area
- Reviews unapplied cash items weekly and follows up on
significant pending items.
- Provides user support for credit card processing system,
communicates issues with Merchant bank and CENPOS
- Manages corporate card process/procedures, administration and
adherence to company policies.
- Prepares Quarterly Procurement Dashboards highlighting key
spend patterns by region as well as other important metrics.
- Assists Assistant Treasurer with ad hoc projects, such as
policy development, procurement cost savings initiatives.
- Works with cross-functional partners to streamline processes
and resolves issues partnering with internal & external personnel
(i.e. dept/branch management, banks, credit card processors, other
CAT dealers, etc.)
- Manages 2 full time and 1 part time staff. Develops and mentors
staff as well as performs mid-year and annual reviews.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in business or related major. MBA or
CPA desirable. Five to ten years relevant finance and/or accounting
experience required. Strong Excel skills required. Cognos and SQL
Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret
financial reports. Ability to read and comprehend complex
instructions, long correspondence, and memos. Ability to write
complex correspondence in simple terms. Ability to respond to
common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies,
or members of the business community. Ability to effectively
present information to top management, public groups, and/or board
Mathematical Skills - Ability to work with mathematical concepts
such as probability. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions,
percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to define problems, collect data,
establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret
an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or
diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an
individual should have strong and deep knowledge of MS Office
products and accounting systems.
