Position Summary Install Coordinator reports to the Branch Manager and is responsible for organizing and coordinating the Branch installation crews in collaboration with the Production Manager. The Install Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Production Manager with scheduling and overseeing the installation of solar projects as well as to facilitate a smooth handoff to the inspection department. The Install Coordinator ensures adherence to contract specifications and established policies and procedures. They are familiar with a variety of solar installation principles, practices, and procedures. Works closely with the Production Manager, Branch Manager and Branch Coordinator. Job Duties/ Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and schedule installations of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to ensure conformance to National Building and Electrical Codes and Freedom Forever standard installation practices Remotely assess potential solar installation sites to determine feasibility and design requirements. Evaluate and implement the resources and processes required to successfully complete quality installs at a high volume. Ensure that Best Practices are being consistently applied throughout the installation process. Assess system performance or functionality at the system, subsystem, and component levels. Assures the quality of work produced is acceptable to company standards and specifications. Work closely with the Production Manager, Branch Manager, and the Branch Coordinator to provide accurate installation forecasts and branch performance reporting. Deliver excellent customer experience and escalate customer concerns as necessary. Ensure that every member of the installation team receives proper safety training and equipment applicable to their position. Enforce Safety Standard Operating Procedures with the support of the Production Manager. Drive continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Customer Service, and Productivity throughout the installation process. Qualification Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 1 year of solar experience preferred Must have a minimum of 2+ years of relatable experience Possess above average working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite; experience in operational CRM and ERP systems is a plus Excellent communication skills that will enhance vendor and supplier relationships, as well as with the installation team Possess strong organizational skills and capable of making decisions without constant supervision Ability to read and interpret job orders as well as understand specifications Possess a wide range of solar installation skills to provide accurate remote job assessment Capable of learning new skills as needed Have knowledge of materials and processes that relate to the companys products Must have a valid driving license and a clean driving record Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Physical demands and abilities Regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers Regularly move from sitting to standing positions effortlessly Regularly spend long hours in intense concentration reviewing and entering financial information into a computer Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects Regularly see details of objects that are less than a few feet away Regularly speak clearly so listeners can understand Regularly understand the speech of another person Frequently work in on projects that require deadlines Frequently bend to file and maintain files HIGH PRIORITY Freedom Forever is an equal opportunity employer.
