Development Coordinator, School of Business Job Number Full/Part Time Schedule Salary 24246031 Full Time 8AM - 5PM $58,000 - $108,800 Position Information The Development Coordinator is a full-time position that works closely with and reports directly to the Senior Director of Development. The development coordinator is primarily responsible for executing daily fundraising and administrative activities in support of UC Riverside's School of Business fundraising strategy and plans. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; providing administrative support to two development staff, calendar management, event support, reviewing and submitting expense reports, making travel arrangements, developing annual giving appeals, managing a prospect portfolio and preparation of materials for meetings. They will also work and interact with volunteers, donors, faculty, and other university staff to assist in establishing and maintaining relationships with all university constituencies. The budgeted hiring maximum is up to $65,000. Education Education Requirements Degree Requirement Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required Experience Experience Requirement 2 - 4 years of related experience. Required Experience using Raisers Edge, a donor management program. Preferred Minimum Requirements Working knowledge of fundraising, donor relations and public relations concepts, principles, procedures and techniques. Working knowledge of the location, its vision, mission, goals, objectives, achievements and infrastructure. Working knowledge of applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, etc. Good organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments. Provide proficient follow-up, and make effective timely decisions despite tight deadlines and competing projects. Good written and interpersonal commu nication skills to establish and maintain good working relationships throughout the organization and with outside constituencies. Computer proficient and able to use a variety of software in a Windows environment, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Skill to maintain confidentiality.
