Job Description:

semiochemical-based control solutions are now cost competitive with
conventional pesticides. We have application and delivery platforms

As a key member of the ISCA Operations team focusing on
Procurement, the Buyer/Planner has the primary responsibility of
ensuring material availability to support the production schedule.
Other responsibilities include managing inventory levels,
supporting material/product level revisions,
interacting/coordinating with suppliers on a variety of topics, and
supporting other business functions as required. In the
Buyer/Planner role, you will have a measurable impact on our
Company's ability to drive costs down and make products available
to farmers around the world. You will be the person to grow and
stabilize the ISCA US Supply Chain.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
--- Place purchase orders with suppliers for the procurement of
production material as required by the sales forecast and the
production schedule
--- Material requirements planning (MRP)/Procurement
forecasting
--- Monitor status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time
delivery of all materials, including timely resolution,
communication and mitigation of future potential problems
--- Expedite or defer orders as required based on
schedule/inventory changes
--- Determine and establish optimal inventory levels based on
forecast, demand variation and material lead times
--- Coordinate material flows throughout product/BOM changes,
obsolescence, and the introduction of new suppliers and/or
materials due to new product development
--- Supplier relationship management (SRM)
--- Manage and resolve issues regarding PO to invoice
discrepancies, returns and quality problems with suppliers
--- Generate and document Standard Operating Procedures
--- Provide back-up support for supply chain functions including
shipping, receiving, material handling and other duties as
assigned
--- Setup & maintain material master system planning parameters
(MOQ, lead time, safety stocks)
--- Collaborate with internal customers and provide a high level of
customer service, including recommending solutions, resources, and
alternative supply options
--- Ensure and promote compliance to Company and Procurement
policies and procedures

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to

Education/Experience
One to three months related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience; or one year
certificate from college or technical school; or Associate's Degree
(A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical
school
Language Ability
Ability to read and interpret information pertaining to invoices,
customer information, shipping information. Able to communicate
situational updates and information with other departments. Ability
to write routine reports and correspondence. Able to communicate
and/or meet with vendors and potential suppliers.
Mathematical Ability
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,
interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area,
circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic
algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of
concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization
exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have
knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Word
Processing software.

- Bilingual a plus
Certifications or Licenses - Valid Driver's license. Employment
dependent on company auto insurance eligibility.
Work Environment
Office Areas: Quiet to moderate noise.
Production Areas: Noise level can be very loud. Work areas can be
very hot in summer months. Frequent use of PPE and strict attention
to safety procedure is required.
All employees are responsible for a clean and safe work area which
includes sweeping, mopping and keeping trash picked up off the
floor.
