Overview:--- Produce components by assembling parts and
subassemblies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Prepare work to be accomplished by following direction given
verbally and/or reading assembly instructions, engineering
drawings, parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and
materials.
* Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading
measurements.
* Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit;
fastening parts and subassemblies.
* Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
* Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet
specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional
resources.
* Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance
requirements; following manufacturer's instructions;
troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with
procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine
inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and
expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
* Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to
accomplish job results.
* Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as
needed.
Qualifications:
* Must be able to read a tape measure.
* Bilingual preferred, English speaking required.
Education/Experience:
* Manufacturing Experience preferred, but not required
* Power Tool experience preferred
* High School Diploma preferred, but not required.

While performing the duties of this job:
* The employee is regularly required to stand or walk; use hands to
finger, handle or feel objects; and reach with hands and arms.
* The employee frequently is required to walk.
* The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, or
crouch.
* The employee is occasionally required to sit for extended periods
of time.
* The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40lbs.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
* Ability to bend, stoop, and squat.
* Ability to work with arms above head.
* Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
Work Environment:
* Production Floor
* Warehouse environment
* Indoor office occasionally
* Solvent, Paint and Adhesive environment.
Personal Protective Equipment recommended and/or required on
production floor:
* Safety glasses.
* Hearing protection
* Work/Cut gloves, as required
* Respirator Protection, as required (includes Pulmonary Fit
test.)
