Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist with a
Meteorological background to lead data pipelines for ML
applications and work in a client-facing role.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead data pipelines for ML applications and work in a client-facing
role
Analyze, process, and model metadata to create actionable plans
Gather and analyze large sets of structured and unstructured data
to determine trends
Required Qualifications:
8 years of relevant experience with a BS degree in Meteorology,
Data Science, Computer Science, or an IT related field
preferred
Experience with data cleansing and preprocessing
Experience with machine learning algorithms and data analytics
Experience using programming languages such as Fortran and
Python
Experience with extracting structured and unstructured data using
SQL and web scraping/APIs
