Job Description:
Job DescriptionUnder general supervision, sets up and operates
assigned production equipment in accordance with established
procedures and guidelines, leads the employees engaged in a variety
of manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and
moving materials. Will participate and lead; root-cause analysis
meetings, training of new employees, track equipment down time,
development of related SOP/SSOPs and line specific KPIs. Operate
various types of machinery, as needed and as described by assigned
leadership.Oversee production line by watching for equipment
malfunctions or product defects, loading raw materials into
equipment, unloading work in progress or finished product and
moving materials to and from the equipment.Set up assigned
equipment each day according to the posted production schedule and
as required based on the product specifications. Disassemble at the
close of each day for sanitation.Monitor equipment operations;
troubleshoot and resolve basic malfunctions, notify supervision and
the maintenance staff when significant issues occur.--Diagnose and
repair of common mechanical malfunctions on production
equipmentPerform scheduled preventative maintenance on production
equipment.Replace broken belts, knives, seals, gaskets, etc., as
indicated by condition, malfunction or planned replacement
schedule.Data recording, entry, and adjustment as neededCalibrate
systems to time, temperature and positions of equipment.--Calibrate
production equipment to ensure that all parts are running
efficiently and correctly according to manufacturer
specifications.Record and interpret temperatures as related to the
process.Use, read and record measuring devices and product
parameters.Monitoring equipment daily and taking corrective
measures to resolve issues.Work with the maintenance staff to
establish and implement preventative maintenance programs and best
practice equipment operation methods.--Work with the maintenance

supervisory staff if unusual or out of spec operations are
identified.Perform general housekeeping duties in the production
area: maintenance a safe and clean work area while in compliance
with existing policy.Take ownership and responsibility for the
equipment and machinery.Comply with organization policies
including, but not limited to, safety, good manufacturing
practices, food safety, and employment and work rules.--Coordinate
with supervisor machine coverage during rest periods and meal
breaks in accordance with company policy.Maintain accurate labor
and materials records on work orders and perform other duties as
assigned.Base salary range from $28,899- $43,359.--Required
SkillsHigh School diploma and/or GED is preferred.--Required
ExperienceAbility to perform comparative analysis and make
recommendations.2 years of similar work experience in a
manufacturing environment.Ability to understand and follow verbal
and written instructions.Ability to read and follow a designated
recipe.Basic understanding of units of measure and their
applications.Basic computer/Microsoft office skills.Proficient math
knowledge.Ability to read, understand and follow written
specifications, blueprints, or schematics in English.Work is
performed within a manufacturing environment subjected to extreme
temperatures of cold and warm along with wearing the proper
PPE,While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
regularly required to stand, bend, walk, use hands or finger, talk,
hear, and feel objects, tools, or controls for an extended period
of time.Required to lift up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities include
