Job Description:

The BEES Administrative Unit provides business services for a large and complex operation encompassing extensive teaching, research, and outreach components for the Botanic Gardens, Earth & Planetary Sciences, and Environmental Sciences within the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences (CNAS). In addition, BEES supports UCR employees and campus purchases of the USDA Salinity Laboratory and provides conference management support for all units within CNAS. Under the direct supervision of the BEES Financial Operations Manager, the Contract and Grants Analyst will work in partnership with Contract and Grants team to manage the pre- and post-award administration of over 230 fund sources for approximately 40 Principal Investigators. The incumbent will prepare agency-specific, multi-year budgets and coordinate the submission of proposals to multiple agencies; prepare comprehensive and detailed reports; assist faculty in planning for the effective and appropriate use of all their funds; ensure compliance with agency-specific terms and conditions, federal guidance, and UC policy; and coordinate all aspects of Sales and Service funds. The successful incumbent will work with a diverse set of customers.
