Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the Police Lieutenant, the
Property and Records Analyst is responsible for the overall
operations of police property and records by performing a broad
range of specialized administrative functions and technical duties,
which involves processing various police records and reports;
receives, enters, researches, and assimilates data in a records
management system and other database systems; identifies and
maintains crime activity and known offender information and
statistics; and, performs a variety of related duties involved in
the maintenance of highly confidential records and crime data,
applying well developed program knowledge, and exercising judgment
and initiative. Also the incumbent's attention to detail and
following established laws and guidelines is a must. The budgeted
hiring range is between $55,332 - $66,106.08 annually.**As a
condition of employment, you will be required to comply with the
University of California SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Vaccination Program
Policy. All Covered Individuals under the policy must provide proof
of Full Vaccination or, if applicable, submit a request for
Exception (based on Medical Exemption, Disability, and/or Religious
Objection) or Deferral (based on pregnancy) no later than the
applicable deadline. For new University of California employees,
the applicable deadline is eight weeks after their first date of
