Job Description:
We are hiring for a CT Tech to join a fantastic healthcare
facility in Riverside County. This is a 13 week-long contract with
the opportunity to renew and offers amazing benefits, perks, career

Under the general direction of the Regional Operations Manager,
with the clinical supervision of the Radiologist at each site on
the mobile route, performs examinations of patients of all ages for
the purpose of assisting in the diagnosis of patient illness
Schedule:
3-1130pm - 5/8's rotating weekends
OR
7p-730am - 3/12s rotating weekends
Responsibilities:
- Performs MRI/CT imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical
regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and
protocols of the individual site Radiologist.
- Under guidance and approval of site Radiologist, administers
contrast agents according to site-specific protocols.
- Cooperates with facility healthcare personnel and complies with
facility policies and procedures.
- Maintains current Permits to Practice in all states in which
services are performed.
- Provide images to the facility in the desired site format.
- Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems.
Calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members
- May assist with the setup and tear down of equipment in
accordance with SMS and/or manufacturers' guidelines.
- Maintains a clean environment inside and outside of the mobile
coach/facility.
- Completes necessary administrative tasks. ie: time reports,
billing, QA, etc.
- Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient
confidentiality.
- Cooperates with facility healthcare professionals and complies
with facility policies/procedures.
- Complies with all safety policies and regulations.
- Maintains current Permits to Practice in all states in which
services are performed.
- Performs additional duties as required.
Requirements:
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists or be registry eligible and possess a permit to
practice where applicable.
- Must be able to interact with client personnel and SMS team
members in an autonomous responsible, professional and ethical
manner.
- Must be able to produce very high-quality special imaging with
little supervision.
- Must be willing and able to assist the Radiologist in his/her
interpretation of exams.
- Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented
environment.
- Must be flexible, reliable and demonstrate sound judgment and
initiative.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 60 pounds as well as assist with
patient maneuvering.
- Must be familiar with age-specific criteria.
- Able to demonstrate competency in all applicable areas.
