Job Description:CDL- A COMPANY OTR DRIVERS NEEDED We are looking for a licensed truck driver who will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods and other articles of trade to our customers. You will be tasked with driving and maintaining trucks that will be assigned to you, as well as working closely with our team of dispatchers in order to plan routes and track deliveries. Notes: 75% Drop and Hook and 25% Live Load Work Requirements:

• A Class A CDL or commercial driver license is required.
• Successful candidates must have a clean driving record
• Must pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Be at least 25 years old
• Provide a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate
• Provide proof of citizenship and legal residence in Ohio
• Provide your social security number for identification purposes
• Certify your agreement with state motor carrier safety regulations
• Complete a CDL application
• Pass a CDL knowledge test
• Pass a drug test
• Pass specific hearing and color perception tests
• Meet the medical requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Provide proof of fluency in the English languageAdditional requirements:
  • Long-distance driving
  • Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers
  • Obeying and following applicable traffic laws
  • Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle
  • Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving
  • Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
  • Complying with truck driving rules and regulations
  • Reporting defects, accidents, and violations
  • Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.)
  • Loading and unloading box trucks with forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Interacting with customers in a professional manner
  • Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports
  • Recording cargo deliveries
  • Verifying loads for accuracy
  • Be respectful to the colleagues.

  • Keep the truck clean
