Job Description"Operate a material handling vehicle while being responsible for all aspects of unloading incoming raw product and loading outgoing finished product, including proper inventory control."Load finished product onto trailers; using the oldest product first based on date stampsUnload raw materials from trailersReconcile shipments; loaded/unloaded weight minus tare weightsInspect incoming raw productMonitor temperature of each incoming load using temperature probesClean the dock area by sweeping and mopping as necessaryClean and sanitize selected trailersCalibrate the floor scaleCalibrate the temperatures probesMaintain the forklift battery; recharge; report all damaged or malfunctioning equipment to SupervisorInspect outgoing trailers for proper temperature prior to departureOperate spotting tractor to move selected trailers around the yardNotify Quality Assurance of new raw product arrivalPerform inventory count of freezer and coolerReceive and distribute UPS shipmentsKeep work area cleanLift a minimum of 60 lbs.Perform related duties as assignedRequired SkillsHigh School/EquivalentRequired Experience3-6 months on the job training closely supervised by Group LeaderCertified Forklift DriverEnglish speaking skills (Bilingual helpful)Ability to move up to 50 pounds.Regularly required to stand and use hands to handle or feel raw material.Regular exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold or hot temperature.The job candidate must be dependable, detail-oriented, able to follow directions, able to work under minimal supervisionThe candidate must be willing to work weekends and overtime hours.Base salary range from $32,887- $44,398.--Position eligible for overtime, appreciation pay and may be eligible for a shift differential (2nd and 3rd shifts).
