holistic approach to wellness through a Collective Impact framework
aimed at providing seamless access to resources for a wide spectrum
of needs. By doing so, HWS aspires to ensure students have the
support they need to be successful in reaching their academic and
personal goals, as well as creating a healthy, inclusive, and
sustainable environment that is conducive to learning using
strategic, measured outcomes, both short-term and long-term. The
goal is to improve the wellness of all UCR Highlanders, and to
instill healthy lifestyle behaviors for those engaged and connected
to the Highlander Community. The position of Research, Evaluation,

expected to interact with the Institutional Research (IR) team,
statisticians, data managers, as well as other UCR team members,
including faculty and staff researchers from various departments
across campus, including programmers, program administrators, and
others. The incumbent is expected to work well independently, and
within a team setting, to provide support to data needs of all
projects under the HWS umbrella, as well as prepare analytical
files, conduct statistical analyses, and prepare data and findings.
Additionally, this role will integrate complex datasets from
heterogeneous sources and develop and maintain databases (e.g.,
Python, R, SAS, SPSS, Redcap). It is also expected that this
position prepare presentations and reports based on the data
analyzed. The incumbent will also be expected to confer with data
and IT personnel from across campus, and will be responsible for
application of a broad range of statistical data analysis methods,
including generalized linear and additive models, mixed effects
models and other multivariate methods.
