Analyst provides Electronic Medical Record (EMR) application and
general IT support in a Microsoft Windows and Google environment.
The Informatics Analyst provides expertise and experience in
maintenance, planning, training, implementation, communication,
evaluation of new functionality, and ongoing process improvement
initiatives related to the Electronic Medical Record systems. The
Informatics Analyst reports to the Director of Informatics and
works cooperatively with other members of the Information
Technology and Operations teams.The position will also provide
Level 1/2 IT Help Desk support. The Informatics Analyst will assist
with maintaining and administering computer and server hardware and
software, systems software, applications software and all
documentation/ configurations.Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, planning, training, implementation, communication,
evaluation of new features, and ongoing process improvements in the
EMR system.
- Work with end users and management of all departments, to help
train staff on usage and full utilization of the EMR system.
- Create and maintain electronic training documentation related
to EMR system and other software applications.
- Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade
all computer and software including servers, desktops, laptops,
phones, etc., while ensuring optimal performance and securing
company data.
- Assists Director of Informatics in developing long-term
strategies and planning for meeting future computer and software
requirements.
- Acts as department liaison in the absence of the Director of
Informatics .
- Design, configure, and test computer hardware, and systems
software to improve processes and overall workflow
- Accurately document all work in the IT Department's asset
management system and help desk portal.
- Provide second-level support for all of the organization's
software.
- Provide basic end-user training and assistance where
required.
- Update Windows operating system and company software as
needed.
- Assists Operations and IT departments in projects and
initiatives as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:

connections.Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in IT, CIS, or equivalent, plus at least
five years of experience in experience with EMR systems in a
multi-site organization, or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
- Experience with electronic medical records systems such as
eClinicalWorks, Epic, and Athena. eClinicalWorks experience is
preferred.
- Experience with interfacing software platforms, including API,
HL7, and FHIR.
- Experience with relational database maintenance and reporting,
including MySQL and SQL.
- Experience with PowerShell.
- Experience with Google Suite and Google AppScript
development.Environmental/Working Conditions:Working environment is
in an office/clinic setting.Physical/Mental Demands:
- Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Requires lifting, carrying and/or moving objects in a manner
consistent with most office environments (generally, no more than
10 pounds on a frequent basis and 20 pounds on an occasional
basis).
- Finger dexterity for typing on a keyboard and using a mouse for
extended periods of time; ability to twist hands or wrists
repetitively.
- Possess full range of motion in shoulders and arms, including
